just thought I would write this entry before I have to go back to work.. some pretty interesting things have occured today.

It turns out that Meagan (ony of my co-workers) is also working her ass off for a trip to Australia as well! She had already baught her ticket and she is just saving up for spending cash. She is also leaving in december and is going to be there for the new years, like me! I have also decided to go, NO MATTER WHAT... and I feel the poll will agree with me on that one. I am going to use this oppourtinity for some competition between us two, to see who can get the money and the most stuff first :) Who knows, we might go down together, or atleast see eachother there!

I was eavsdropping on some customers as I was cleaning tables, they were talking about the internet and how its a bad influence to their kids. "I can show you a site that tells you step-by-step how to make bombs" one said. Thinking in my head of course: "Uhh yeah, so can I, just go to Chapters and pick up a book". The other one replied "The internet is such a bad influence, thats why I only let them use it for 1 hour a day". I thought "Uhh... yeah, so you only let them watch the news for an hour a day, or read porn or listen to the radio or watch rated R movies." THe point I am trying to make is this: You can get all the bad stuff and good stuff from the internet in real life look at book stores, on tv, in the news. The only catch is that it's easier to find it on the internet than anywhere else. These people have to realize that if you are going to cut your chrisldren from the net because "it's a bad influence" then you should seal them in a box and feed them through a tube. Everywhere you look there are "bad influences" *sigh*
