This is going to be a quick short entry! I have spent the past 3 hours or so, sucking in as much information I can about networking and broadband access. A friend of mine might be hooking me up with a Jr. Sysadmin Position at a company downtown - and I just want to be sharp and up todate with stuff.

Personally if I had a choice, I would take the Sysadmin position over the other one being offered at the New Media Company. Why you ask? Simple - Knowledge. I will probably learn more being a Jr. Sysadmin than working as a web developer. Personally I wanted to start getting my hands dirty anyways!

However, at this point - I am pretty desperate for cash - so whoever delivers first will win. It's neck and neck folks!

Tomorrow its off job hunting again, not to mention reading up on some more stuff (Specifically Sun related stuff, like Solaris and Tru64) and hopefully finishing up on Infiniteloop website.

I have been drinking Fruitpoia like crazy! Specifically Strawberry Passion Awareness and Tangerine Wavelength. I was most dissapointed when there was no such thing as a Fruitopia website! The domain name isn't even registered either. I am debating whether or not to register it and launch a website. I just know that Coca-Cola is going to get on my ass with a "cease and dissist"(sp) order to bring down the website for copywrite infringement. Then again, the publicity could help ;)

I got a response from Click Media. A New Media company in King City, which is a 15 min drive from my place. The guy said he found me resume "interesting", he didn't call today - so I am going to give him a call tomorrow. If this place is anything like DigiDo (which I have the feeling it is) then I am going to LOVE it there. I really do hope I get this job.

Nothing really new to report, I started archiving the photos from the webcam - so hopefully I will be able to toss on an archive next month. I also updated the photographs section of the website with some of my blacklight body painting stuff. Tomorrow I am probably going to enter the old journal entries in from '98-'00. I need to get my video back from Lindsay. I havn't talked to Kristen in a few days either. Mark and Damon are off in Florida for the week. Looks like its just me and Gord, he wanted to do something tonight - but neither of us can figure out what.

If I hear back from steve, regarding a project I am working on - I will probably spend the majority of tomorrow working on that. Otherwise, it's going to be Infiniteloop stuff.

I also talked to Lizzy last night for about an hour. I missed all the good times we used to have! :) I can't be living in the past, now can I?

I will get that job, oh yes! I will.

Well, I ended up explaining this whole "I got hired, then fired again" situation with my job interview yesterday to about 2033781 different people. So here I go again, explaining it to you - my loyal readers! *grin*

I had to get up at around 5 am yesterday morning. I was going into the city with my mom, and she had to be at work at 7am. My appointment was at the Eatons Centre at 9am - so I had about two hours to kill. Took the subway to Queen St. station and headed into the mall. Got a yummy Apple Dainish and a paper and plopped my self down and started to read.

*2 hours pass*

They loved me! They really loved me! Half my interview was in french (to test my r00ling french speaking skills). I was pretty much hired right there. I filled out all the forms (since it was a bank, they had to make sure that I wasn't a Criminal and that my credit rating was good). While I was being interviewed, people at the bank "transferred someone from another department" to take my job. Sucky eh? The job was only temporary: friday, saturday, sunday - and that it. So like a 3 day contract. I just needed the money, even if it was only $300 or so :) While I was at the recruitment agency, I figured I might as well do some of the testing they offered. Turns out I can type at 70 words per minute, with a 7% error rate! Not too shabby if you ask me! It was around 11:30am when I got back to my moms work - we went out to lunch. After she headed back to work, and I headed for the car, where I slept for 2 hours!

I got home, but I didn't end up going to bed until around 2:30 in the morning. Got up today at around 12pm - I feel soo much more refreshed!

Don't know what I am going to do today. For the past two hours I have been playing with infiniteloop.ca stuff (seting up spam blocking stuff for mail). I might chill with Lindsay when she is done work, since I havn't seen her in a long time. I might also clean up my room :P~ As well, if I have time, I want to set up the AlarmClockCAM today as well - still need to think that one through first :)

Hrm, my sleeping patterns have been really fucked the past week or so. I'm not even tired and it's almost 3am! I want to get back into a normal sleeping pattern, there just has been so much on my mind lately.

The biggest thing, is this trip to Florida. My friend Mark invited me to go. Its super cheap ($400) for a week, staying with friends (or relatives, not sure) in St. Petersburg. I didn't go, because I would rather spend that $400 on paying off my credit card and/or parents. I really do want to go, and am sorry for disapointing my friends - but I would rather be in less debt than more by going for a week in Florida.

The second biggest thing on my mind, is work and specifically what I am going to do for the next 6-8 months. I plan on going to Europe in September, but I am not sure if I am going to have enough money. If that is the case, I will keep working over the winter and go to Europe in the Spring, any extra money I make will go towards my next trip which will be to South America.

My third large-thought-o-month has to do with flying. I wanted to get my Pilots License. Thats going to be heaps of money as well - but I LOVE flying. Sometime this spring Mark and I are going to take an intro course to flying at Buttonville airport. That will set me back about $50, nothing too serious.

So thats why I can't sleep. now, it being 3:30 - hopefully I can.

Man, the days are going by REALLY fast now! When Gord was over last weekend, he also installed Half-Life - I played it before in Australia, but I never had a version that would work in Win2k. Been playing it nonstop now for the past few days. What else do I have to do? No work, no school. Nothing.

Mark is going to Florida next week. I was kinda hoping he would wait until April so that I could go too. But alas, he decided to go early. The last thing I need to do is to spend money. If anything, I think I need to borrow some money from parents for credit card payment for next month, since I already missed one.

I was bored last night, so I decided to whip out the black light paints and strip down to my undies. I always wanted to see what I looked like rugged up in black light paint, but never did it before. My first attempt was, well it was amature. I took some photos, that I still need to process and throw up on the net. Should get this done tomorrow some time.

I got sidetracked with helping some people, and this journal has been cut short :/ It's 2am, and I must sleep. Going to be listneing to this while I play in slumberland.

Ahh Chicane, they always know how to soothe my anger - that and Mandalay. Infact right now I am downloading another one of their albums from Napster (Far From The Maddening Crouds), getting it while I can :)

No news on the Kristen situation, she hates me even more now - this time, for stuff I said on my journal. Hopefully she will cool down in a bit, then we can be friends again :)

Next week (Wednesday to be precise) I am going to a Job Fair in Toronto, hopefully that will turn my luck in my job hunting. I am going to bring along my camera as well, take some snaps. It will be nice to get out the house, since I havn't been the past few weeks.

Nothing new to report (hence the title of todays entry) - hopefully something will happen soon!

Got up, took a shower - thats about it! Been watching the news for the past 3 hours or so (Cable Pulse 24). When I am done this entry, I am going to get some lunch.

My room still needs to be cleaned, as I have lots of laundry to do. Hopefully I will finish up my website as well.

Kristen is pissed at me. She's pissed because I am willing to not go to Europe because I like Lindsay, but I went to Australia even though I was already going out with her. She doesn't understand that I have wanted to go to Australia years before meeting Kristen. As well, Kristen KNEW that I was going to Australia when we went out - yet that didn't stop her. In anycase, if this whole fiasco is going to push both of them away (as friends), then I rather not go out with Lindsay.

My skin is going through hell. The weather, and not to mention the central heating - is drying it out like mad. I really miss the humid climate of Australia.

For most people, including me - its just another catalyst to my depression. So what am I doing tomorrow you ask?

Have to get up early (well, around 8am) and heading off to the city with my brother and Mom. Have a dentist appointment. Arden called tonight, asking my mom if he can bring his girlfriend - I hope she comes. Will be nice to hang out with him. It seems that my brother has actually grown up - I dont mind hanging with him. Otherwise, I think I will be spending the time with my mom - which is good too, since I want to run a few things by her. Mainly stuff about my future. Like what I am going to do and stuff.

I have been submitting resumes like crazy the past two days. I also submitted profiles with monster.ca as well as isgjobs.com. Hopefully that will help me out in my job hunt. I'm looking for something like what I had at Digido. Building webpages, especially working close with the graphic designer and client. That was really the only job where I enjoyed going to work each day. So depending on which job i get and if I like it or not - will probably influence on what I do in regards to travelling.

Jenna told me that even the fact that I want to go to Europe isn't good with trying to get closer to Lindsay. Since her last boyfriend is in Euorope right now and might be staying there. So she is afraid that might happen again with me if we hook up. It's totally understandable. To be honest, I never really felt this way towards someone before. She's smart, definately has a great sense of humor. I feel so happy when I am around her. I just hope she keeps me in mind when shes out there looking for someone to spend some time together.

I have also had something else on my mind besides Linds. ;) I have always wanted to get my tounge pierced. I wanted to get it done in Australia, but was too scared. I have been reading up on it - researching it. Everything looks pretty good :) Sooooooo... I was thinking of getting it done this spring or summer. Just a little scared thats all - might bring someone along as well.

So, whats planned for my website? Well I plan on finishing up some of the links. Adding some photos, the resume as well as an idea that I have been throwing around in my head. I was thinking of having a database thingy where I would list the movies I have seen, rate them - as well allow you to rate and comment on them as well. Also probably going to have the streaming mp3 action as well ( like I had on the old site). So some exciting things will be happening here - hopefully to add some more user interaction.

I only lost about two or three entries. :(

I had a good weekend, hung out with Lindsay :) Also went to see Hannibal on Saturday with
Jenna, her d00d, Lindsay, Mark. I didn't like the movie that much - I think that the first
one was much better. Anyways, after dropping people off, Mark and I decided to get some
Wendies - which blew my budget for my plans for Valentines day.

Today was alright. I had originally planned to hang out with Linds today - but she decided to do her own thing. So I spent about an hour today doing some cleaning, mostly my room.

I decided to hang out with my brothers girlfriend, Suzanne. I had to head to the mall to get some stuff printed (Thanks Gord!), so she tagged along. We then headed out for a coffee after. Was nice, got some bonding done - she's pretty cool. Had dinner with her and my family. I am trying to get her to be less shy about everything, I think its working.

This week is going to be SHIT! I am going to finish cleaning up and get my resume out there. Also I am going to finish up my page, and get my business proposal for infiniteloop.ca going. I still need to pay off my credit card and some money I owe my parents. I want to get that debt paid off before I start spending some more money. My goal, is by valentines day - I will have a job.

I had a dream about Lindsay last night - its fucked. She has been on my mind for the past few days. I don't think Kristen is pleased with my whole 'hanging around her'. I will have to talk to her about it after school tomorrow.

A week has passed since I got back from Australia - I am still not used to the cold :/ Today especially, it was cold and snowing.

I havn't been looking for a job as aggressively as I wanted to. I only applied to one place, that was Silvercity in Newmarket. I still have to put together my resume.

I went to Lindsays house yesterday, was nice to see her again! She agreed, which is good. I know that some people wouldn't be happy with my hanging out with Linds. I will have to give her a call after this weekend to see if we can get togther again.

It's going to be a quiet weekend. Kristen and Jenna are off to Edmonton for the weekend. Mark and Damon are busy with school. Gord is busy with work. My mom is gone out with a friend. So it's just my dad and I. I mentioned tonight that maybe we can go see a movie or something, but he isn't too keen on doing those sort of things :) "Oh yeah, thats a good way to spend a day sitting in a dark theather saying 'check out those crappy effects' "

I also spent yesterday picking up a new computer, and doing some running around for my mom. I also drove my friend Bryan (who I bought the computer from) to work. It was nice to be back in the city. Ideally I would want to work there as well.

I have a feeling these entries are going to be pretty small and boring until I get some money.
