I think I might have just made the biggest mistake of my life! I was all excited driving down to the car dealership. Had my music blasting over the speakers - it was a nice day, sunny and 22C. Spent about an hour or so at the dealership going over the terms and what exactly I am buying. I put a nice security deposit down, and headed home!

Looks like I am locked in for the next four years! I am still not sure if I am going to purchase the car after the four years or not. What worries me the most is the fact that I am locked in for four years paying off the car. It's the largest purchase I have ever done in my life. It can do nothing but help my credit rating :)

So what exactly am I getting?

A 2001 Volkswagen Golf GL, 2 door - 2L engine, 75kW (115HP) with a sunroof and cd player. Dark green, with a cream colour interior. 5 Speed Manual, baby!

Today was hell. Had to get up at 4am, so that I could be in the city at 5, to help set up for a conference. Went home early, at around 12:30 or so, just relaxed - took it easy.

ugh, must sleep. so tired.
