I actually sat down for dinner with my parents tonight! Wholy crap! First time since I started CBC job 2 months ago. Was nice :)

Spent most of the night last night with Gord. Didn't really do much, just hung out and took care of some work that needed to get done. Didn't end up sleeping until 5am, I decided to crash at his place.

Liz and I had a good time Thursday night - we saw Blade 2. Alright movie.. nothing exciting though.

Nothing else new to report.

Got an email from the boss today, asking me what days/hours I am available in April. Looks like I continue working until then :) I am going to double confirm tomorrow at work.

I should be getting my car back on the 27th or so. They don't guarantee that date.. I just cant wait to get her back! I am so sick of driving this rental around.

I have been saving up my money! Need to pay off these debts so I can head back down under. Been thinking a lot about it lately. In school we were tought about peer pressure, and how not to do drugs just because "everyone" else is doing it. ha! They didn't teach you about the other type of peer pressures. Like the one where all your friends in another continent want you to come back and visit them. Best friend in Oz, Andrew - is getting really close to Kat. Just feel like if I come back down, I will just be the third wheel with them. Neither of them will want to do anything with me because they are doing stuff together! Everyone else, like Gav and Kristy - busy with uni, Anthony - work, and his own company, Sue - work. Everyone is busy, and/or has no money. *sigh* I miss them all.

It's been super cold lately. Totally unseasonable weather the past few days.

Oscars where horrible.

I think I am going to try to get to sleep at a decent hour, instead of 4am.

I mis read the parking sign, thought it said "parking between 9am and 4pm", not "no parking between 9am and 4pm". Parking ticket cost me $20.

I figured I try parking a little closer to work, the sign said "$12 daily max", which is the same price as parking at the place I normally do. Little did I know....

Turns out that sign was for ANOTHER parking lot, that got blown down the street. Price for parking - $17. ($5 more than normal).

Coming back from Lisettes place, I got a flat tire on the 401. No manual in the car, plus no wrench to undo bolts on tire to replace. Cost to call tow truck to replace flat tire, $60.

You can't park on the streets between Nov 15 and April 15, 2am-6am. Since both cars were in the driveway, and I was in no mood to shuffle the cars around so that I can park in the garage, I park on the street. The Town of Aurora likes to charge $50 for this infraction.

So all in all, I had to pay $125 in fines, parking, and costs. I lost about $6.50 an hour yesterday. This doesn't include my wasted time either!

Blah.. I think Lisette is a curse. The last time I saw her, I got in to a car accident. This time I got a flat tire. I think we should stick with the TTC from now on.

Have you ever experienced one of those "wholy crap that was cool, what are the chances of that happeneing" moments? I had three of those today!

The first one happened to me in the car. I was heading out to go to work when I thought to my self "hmm, I wonder how much gas I have". Just as I looked down at the gas guage, the "low fuel" warning light came on!

The second one was when I was at work. My window overlooks the corner of Front St. and John St. There is a parking lot with a lot of large billboard signs. I was working away on the computer when I just happen to glance out the window at one of the billboards. At that same moment, I saw all the street lights in the parking lot go on (because it was getting dark) including lights on the billboard that I was looking at.

The third one, was when I was getting dinner at Subway. I had gotten a few extra drinks along with my normal 12" Roasted Chicken sub (with a drink and chips). I needed to pay with Interac (EFTPOS for you Australian Readers). The total came to $10.49 - which happens to be my pin number as well!

Anyways, that was pretty much the most excitement I had all day :)

Nothing else new to report. I haven't seen Lisette in about 2 weeks, she's been sick plus back at school. Car is still broken - insurance company is still taking care of stuff. I did post some pictures of the damage at www.blakecrosby.com/pics.

Yeah, I havn't updated in ages!

I have been pretty busy lately, with CBC and InfiniteLoop. Not to mention my parents restaurant!

I was able to get my news portal up and running! :D news.blakecrosby.com. Depending on where you are from (ok, NSW or VIC) you will get differnt weather, otherwise its stuck on Toronto weather :) Dont know if I am going to add anything else. I might.

Cant wait to go on our skiing trip wednesday/thrsday. Mark, Damon, and I are going. I am going to bring camera and laptop, of course. Mark is going to bring his XL1 and his Sony Hi8 Camera. I'm a little worried because nobody can reach me up there. I am going to have to turn vacation on my email, and create a new voice mail message. It's going to be FUN though - I need the break.

UGh, also need to set up music/mp3s for parents restaurant.. so much to do.
