*Hack* *Cough*
Sunday, May 26, 2002 - 13:05:21 Permalink This chest cold is getting worse. I took some cough medicine last night. Man I slept like a baby :) Mommy said that there is pneumonia going around. I doubt I have it though, since I dont exhibit its symptoms (other than the cough). Liz is supposed to come over tonight, but I think I am going to pass, as I feel like crap. She was over last night, we watched the hockey game (damn leafs are hanging in there) and some Family Guy. Nothing exciting. Not even looking forward to seeing Star Wars tomorrow. Sore and Burnt Friday, May 24, 2002 - 12:05:26 Permalink | On this day in 2006 | On this day in 2003 I spent the majority of the day yesterday biking with Mark. I met him at Pizzaville at around 1pm, we grabbed some pizza then hit the trails. I love my bike. I was having a little trouble with my right foot/pedal basket thingy. Other then that it was good. We probably packed in at least 20-30kms. At 5 o'clock Gord joined us. We hit the trails behind my house attempted a few jumps, then headed back home to chill. We ate at Jack Asstors. Heh, our server was someone I knew. She used to go to school with Arden and I (waay back in grade 6 or so). I wonder if she recognised me. We then headed so Shauns house, he has a trampoline! Bounced on it for a few hours. Went inside and played catch phrase, bounced on the trampoline some more, then went home. I was so tired and sore, it was unbeleivable. I hopped in the shower, got all nice and clean. I just layed in my bed naked, listening to the rain outside and fell asleep. I love doing that. Not sure what I am going to do today. I am going to head to chinook for some lunch, then maybe finish up my mp3 player. Clean my room? Do laundry? I still have this nasty cough, not sure who/where I got it from. Its starting to annoy me. No, its not allergies. Shaking in their boots Tuesday, May 21, 2002 - 22:05:39 Permalink | On this day in 2001 Osama Bin Laden and his Al'Queda forces have won. America is a nervous country. There have been many press conferences, and announcements letting people know that there are going to be more terrorists attacks. Most seinor members of the US Government are saying that these attacks will be in the form of suicide bombings (just like we are seeing in the middle east). Osama has proved that the United States is NOT an invicible power, not impregnable. It's about time. I really hope this changes the outlook Americans have on the world. Maybe they wont be such ass holes anymore. Canadian forces are leaving Afghanistan. The reason? We don't have enough people to replace them. 850 soldiers are leaving Kandahar in July. Our army isn't large enough to replace them while they are on leave. Heh - Goooo Canada! Ding Ding! Saturday, May 18, 2002 - 14:05:14 Permalink | On this day in 2001 I picked up my bike yesterday. The weather has been super shitty so I havn't really took it out for a long spin. I did ride it to the restaurant last night. Pretty nice ride! I did some more work on my mp3 player. I have attached feet to the motherboard, so that I can glue the motherboard to the motherboard rails I created. I had ordered a Character LCD that I will have to modify. It should arrive some time next week. Working all long weekend, good money :) Liz 101 Wednesday, May 15, 2002 - 01:05:11 Permalink | On this day in 2001 Lizzy (not Lizzie) called me today at work. I was surprised. We didn't talk much... she thought I was mad at her! pffft. Nothing is really new with her! Liz (Lizzie, Lisette) and I had a great time on Sunday :) yeah, yeah - we did the horizontal mumbo-jumbo. Talked about a few things.. that black dress she wears.. uNF! Lots of people have been asking me what she looks like, so - here are a few pics!

Happy? ;) Saturday, May 11, 2002 - 13:05:46 Permalink Lindsay was bitching :) that I never update my journal.. Well here goes :) My car MP3 player (which doesn't have a name yet) started to take shape yesterday. Gord was kind enough to help me cut the acryllic/plexiglass into its proper dimentions. He almost lost a hand in the process. A piece of plexiglass got caught in the blade and flung it back, just nicking his hand. Last night Gord and I went to Three different bars! First was Charlies, but that sucked. I called Mark, and the rest of the gang was at Riccis. So we went there, that sucked. So we decided to head to Jack Asstors for some food. Gord got free wings! (cause they fucked up his order) I got tasty nachos! Nothing really else new to report. I want to see Liz again this weekend, perhapse tomorrow? I still need to get a bike! arggg! L&B, it's not a drink. Sunday, May 5, 2002 - 22:05:01 Permalink | On this day in 2003 | On this day in 2001 This week has been pretty uneventful, except for Thursday and Friday. Liz came over on Thursday, we hung out - went to Charlies. She slept over and we chilled on Friday. All the while eating most of our meals at Chinook. There is absolutely NO food in the house! I just found out now, that ever since we went out on Thursday, I have been driving around without my drivers licence nor my interact card! First thing I do when I get home is put them back in my wallet. That is all. |
