Operation: Zero!

Yay! Finally the new website has arrived. Simple eh? I will be adding features as time permits. However, since the journal is the substance to the site, it appears on the first page!

Mark recommended a book called "Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea". It's been a big challenge to get a copy of it:

Attempt 1: I went to pick it up the same day Mark did. NO Dice. There were only two copies at the Aurora Chapters. Mark got one and somebody got the other.

Attempt 2: I went online to see if the store near work had any copies. They also had two. I had meant to buy one on Thursday, but didn't have time. I decided to pick it up on Friday when Cara came down to the city. NO Dice. Someone had snagged them! (Mark told me today that one of the people we both know and he recommended the book to her as well).

Attempt 3: Cara went to the chapters near her house in Scarborough. DICE! I got a copy! She's going to drop it off tomorrow.

Work has been frantic. I'm so glad that i'm hitting the slopes out west this week! It's going to be a great stress reliever. The week I come back though is going to be interesting. I will be heading back to Montreal for two days for work. Then it's the ZeD uncut streaming thing that ZeD (A show on CBC) is doing out of Vancouver.... Speaking of which. I *may* get transfered out there. They are looking for a new Sysadmin. It's still unofficial and all, but I think I may be a the top of the list for that.

My throat is getting sore... I hope i'm not coming down with anything...

All Killer, No Filler!

Quick update (dont really feel like writing):

- New mp3s... W00t!

- I almost hit someone in the city the other day.. going 70km/h too!

- All alone while people play hockey

- New website re-design (coming soon!)

Aurora is the gayest city.

The same cop keeps on giving me parking tickets each time I park at the Go station. It's not for the same offense... This time he nailed me for "parking within 9 meters from intersection"... $25. Fucker THE SAME FUCKING GUY EACH TIME.

Had a good time at Blue Mountain this weekend, just Cara and I. Conditions were alright. Saturday was such a lazy day.. DId absolutely nothing. It was great.

I added an extended forecast feature to my Quick Weather website. I also noticed someone who works for Blue Mountain sign up for an XML key (so he can get the xml feeds of the weather in Collingwood). If you want to get the current weather and 2 day forecasts visit the website.

Damn-it! It's already sleepytimes :(

Oh yeah.. I love this quote from archives.cbc.ca: "Carnival revelry might just make Quebec "the gayest city on the continent."
