Got my hair cut today.
Went to Chapters to get a travel book on Italy

Not quite sure what to do. Cant get ahold of Gord or Mark.

Star wars was good. Some cheezy lines were encountered (and expected) but best of the new three. I did catch some interesting things though.. in one scene you can see the millennium falcon about to land on a landing pad. Also, in the opening scene during the huge battle (which was awesome of course) after a part of a ship exploded you can see what looks like a kitchen sink fly from the explosion.

By the time we got out of the theater it was about 1:30am or so. We were chilling outside while while everyone had a cigarette. About after 5 min of talking there was this old couple that appeared, the old lady was attempting to go down the stairs with her walker. I commented that the old bag was going to take a header down the stairs. We continued talking, and everyone finished up their cigarettes. At this point it had been about 10 minutes and the old lady with her walker finally made it down the stairs and was just entering her car.

When I get old, I hope it doesn't take me ten minutes to walk from my car to the entrance of a movie theater.

Even though this was a short week, it felt like it was 8 days long! It's finally over.

I logged into the aeroplan website to see how many points I have so far.. over 3,700! 4.9% complete to my goal of 75,000 (which gets me a free flight to Australia).

My trip to South Carolina with Melissa went well.. amazingly we weren't at each others throats. The weather was good and it was good to get away. Ironically all hell broke loose at work the week I was gone.

I signed a three year contract at work today.. which is great (came with a 7% raise too!). Previously I had only been allowed to renew on a yearly basis.

Only eight days until Italy. Starting to get excited... cant wait!

This weekend was a mish-mash of stuff.

Friday we (mark,gord,melissa,kara, laura) headed to Andres place for some video gaming while Sampson treated the girls to a night out at a pub. Potential boring night for the girls averted thanks to Andres quick thinking ;)

Saturday I headed up the car dealership to get all that shit sorted out. They performed the wrong work on my car (supposed to be 96k maintenance, but they did 104k - which is just an oil change). I dont know anyone in their right mind would pay $100 for an oil change. The thing that pissed me off the most is that they told me my brake pads didn't need to be changed, however according to the invoice.. they never even looked at them. grrr.

Then I headed down to Yorkdale to do some shopping... got some new dressy shoes for $20 (bata has like a huge sale, 70% off). Also got a new shirt and tie (which I will only wear once probably) that is a little uhmm.. flashy ;) I will have to post a photo of me wearing this gig up in the next few weeks.

With a few hours to kill, Melissa and I headed out to Canada's Wonderland to get our seasons pass photos taken and go on some rides. The wait for the new Italian Job ride was over an hour and a half long.. so we no diced that.

Had some dinner, took a nap, then went out to meet a few guys at a bar in newmarket. This was the first time I saw Shawn since Kicking Horse.. hung out there for a few hours then headed home.

Mother's day today... so naturally my entire family is at the restaurant taking care of that shit. I already have a load of laundry in the washer going.. so I might head out to the gym. Mark doesn't want to go for a bike ride, and I can't get ahold of Gord.
