The deal has been finilized last night just after 10pm. The new place is a 1600 sqft. 3 bedrooom townhouse.

The closing date is May 15th. But Blake! Isn't your closing date for your condo April 30th? Yes, yes it is. So we're going to have to figure out someplace to stay for 2 weeks. It sucks that we have to move twice too.

There is a condition in our offer though that states if the owner can move sooner that he will let us know of the new closing date. So there is a chance that we might be able to move in on the 30th.

The home inspection is slated for Friday at 1:30.

My Wii arrived yesterday and Melissa and I were able to get some time in playing with it.

The first thing I noticed was the user interface. It's awesome! Easy to use, even the background music is pleasant.

The "applications" on the console are called channels. So you can tune to the news "channel" and get news from the Associated Press. The really cool thing is that you can turn on a "globe mode" similar to Google Earth and fly around the planet. The more news there is for a particular region the higher the news paper stack is.

I think this is a good way to teach kids about geography and world events.

The Wii is set to download updates, news, etc.. while its turned off. When there is a new message waiting, the Wii glows blue letting you know that something is waiting for you.

You can send messages, including photos/videos, to other Wiis. As well, your Mii (a character you create that you play in games) can "travel" to other Wiis and appear in their games as well.
