Melissa and I headed up north to visit her family. It was a great weekend! We returned to our apartment to find a note on the door:

"Dear Neighbour in 423

Please turn off the alarm/buzzer coming from your unit.

We can hear it through the walls & it has woken us up & disturbed our sleep for the last 2 days.

Please be more considerate.

Thank-you"

Whoops! I forgot to turn off my alarm before leaving for the weekend. It was set to go off at 9am on the buzzer setting.

Guess trying to sleep with a buzzer going off on the other side of the wall for 2 hours is too annoying...

I wonder if I should reply with following note ;)

Dear Neighbour next to 423.

I'm sorry that you had to endure my alarm going off for the past two days at "rise and shine" time of 9am.

Your incessive partying and techno beats at 7am in the morning as you come off your shift working as a bartender and/or waitress is appreciated every weekend.

I don't blame you for not knowing that forgetting to turn off my alarm has nothing to do with courtesy but is an honest accident. The fact that you party out on your balcony until 4am in the morning shows us that you don't even know the definition of courteous.

Fuck-you, we're moving in 15 days"
